The Leela needed a reliable network and IPT infrastructure to replace their previous one allowing for easy monitoring, configurations and effective troubleshooting to minimise any downtime as much as possible.
They also needed advanced segmentation and guest Wi-Fi services to ensure security while giving their guests the best experience possible. In addition, on the back end of their legacy cameras, a bank of DVRs in multiple closets was gathering footage, so retrieving video was complicated and very time consuming for staff. The process was a huge drain on staff resources. When incidents were reported, staff could easily find themselves going down a rabbit hole to track related footage. The Leela team needed a more effective and efficient alternative. Any overhaul or replacement of their network, IPT and surveillance systems had to be carried out with speed. Installation and configuration needed to be achieved with rapid deployment, so as not to interfere with the usual daily routines of the hotel.
The Meraki solution gave a centralized view of the status of the entire network, while the Cisco IPT ensured high quality communication.
The Cisco IPT aided in establishing flawless communication both within the hotel staff or when interacting with guests and services, cementing the exceptional hotel experience. The Meraki cloud-managed system meant that new features were added to help streamline setup, management, and configuration. Any issues were easily identified and resolved. The Cisco Unified Communications setup ensured that the vast telephony infrastructure of the hotel, both the internal communications and external communications, would be managed efficiently with little or no downtime. The implementation of Cisco Meraki and Unified Communications solutions greatly improved the functionality of the hotel iPT, Networking and Surveillance. The hotel staff were able to better enhance the guest experience through the upgraded infrastructure.
